live in the moment

Techniques I used here : faux wood, faux leather and one of my favorite Tim's techniques - rusted enamel. For the faux wood all you need is alchohol ink (I used Adirondack Cabin Cupboard set), glossy card stock, wood texture stamp and brown archival ink.
For the faux leather I used embossed paper, vintage photo distress ink and Claudine Hellmuth studio multi-medium matte.
Inks used for the rusted enamel technique are peacock feather, vintage photo and walnut stain.

creative wilderness

My new project is probably a bit out there, but for some reason I like it very much. I'm wondering why...

Because I'm participating in Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge: Stamping on anything but plain paper! the tag is from thick painted  card stock, the background is grunge paper and feathers are wooden ^.^

I'm also participating at Get Creative tag challenge.

mixed media layout

Few simple steps in making mixed media layouts.
First, I used some scraps left from an alphabet die and stencils with paint

Then inks, stamps and few embellishments

And for the finishing touch I used glimmer mist and more embellishments of course ^.^

 So here is the result.

few close ups on all the shininess ^.^

I'm participating with this layout at Get Creative  September layout challenge and at Memories Trend

Lately I have so many project in my mind and ongoing, that I just all out of words. I wish I'll find some time to post a few of them ^.^  and now without any further delay

black tag was stamped with paint and embossed with clear embossing powder, faux (if I can call it so) wood texture was made with  different colors of distress ink and clear embossing powder and the heart was firstly colored and than embossed with  embossing folder (inked with darked color)

P.S. For Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge:  Embossed.

follow your heart

Vintage photo distress ink and I see Paris Tim Holtz stamp set

I love this ink because it's so versatile, I use it almost always and almost with everything, and on this card with so many simple techniques : stamping on embossing folder, misting with water the inked stamp before stamping, applying directly on the paper, sealing the stamped image with clear embossing powder and even dyeing the hemp cord ^.^
